Experimental Techniques

(1) Resistivity versus Temperature 4 K-300 K (dipper cryostat)(home made)

(2) Resistivity versus temperature 4 K - 300 K ( 4 sample holder exchange gas cryostat)(home made)

(3) Resistivity versus temperature 5 K to 300 K ; 4 sample holder, external field 0 Tesla to 12 Tesla (home made)

(4) Magnetisation versus temperature ( 2 K to 300 K) ; external field 0 Tesla to 16 Tesla (vibrating Sample Magnetometer, CRYOGENIC Inc., UK)

(5) ac susceptibility 2k to 300 K ; external field 0 Tesla to 16 Tesla  part of VSM

(6) Resistivity under pressure upto 7.5 Gpa from 4  to 300 K

(7) Indigeneous Thermopower measurements set up in the  4 K to 300 K temperature range

(8) Home made Specific heat in the 77 K to 300 K temperature range

(9) Heliox cryostat to measure resistivity upto to 0.3 K

(10) Home made Hall effect system in external fields upto 12 Tesla

Sample preparation

(1) Furnaces upto 1400 C

(2) Arc melting furnace

(3) Glove box to assemble air sensitive samples

(4) Ar atmosphere annealing in pressures upto 50 bar upto 950 C.

(5) Pulsed Laser deposition chamber
