We use  positrons, photons and electrons as probes of the medium and employ the following experimental techniques 

 

 

·  Positron Annihilation Spectroscopy (Bulk)

·  Variable low energy positron beam (Surface)

            - Defects, Radiation Effects

 

·  Time Differential Perturbed Angular Correlation (Bulk)

            - Defects, Structural and Magnetic Phase transitions

 

·  Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (Bulk)

            - Vibrational modes, Phonons, Phase transitions

 

·  Auger Electron Spectroscopy (Surface)

            - Elemental identification, Local Chemistry
