About us
We are actively engaged in the frontline research areas pertaining to synthesis and surface analytical characterization of monolithic & multilayer thin films. In particular transition metal nitrides like TiN, TiAlN, NbN by reactive PVD techniques. We have indigenously built Combustion Chemical Vapour deposition (CCVD) and Laser assisted CCVD for oxide based systems. Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry (SIMS) has been used as a compositional characterization tool with a depth resolution of few nanometers. This is an ideal candidate to study the complete periodic table with isotopic accuracy.
